World Music Choir 'Inakord'

A cappella style singing

Every Monday evening - 7.45pm-10pm - except during school holidays.

This is a community based open access choir who meet to enjoy singing together.

Led by Barbie Cole and Verena Gruner, we sing songs from around the world in unaccompanied part singing [a cappella]. We do the occasional concert, but mostly come together just because we like to sing.

We begin again for this term on Monday 21st July. We meet in the main hall at the Centre. We ask that members commit to attending regularly.

Cost: $25 per term - or $3 each night

Hands-on Healing Clinic

'Come Home to Yourself....'

Energy Healing has been around as long as humans. Its practice has taken many forms around the world and it has had many names.
Our healing practice comes from the hands-on healing practice of the native Canadian people. Energy healing is not limited by culture or place - it is universal in nature and belongs to us all.
Hands-on healing eases your way into a relaxed space where you can explore your inner world, expanding the possibility of centredness.
We acknowledge your uniqueness and the unique situations and struggles you may find yourself in as you go about your daily liife. The healing encourages you to continually check in with yourself, converse with yourself, and be who you are.

We are in the Kotahitanga Room at the Riverside Community and Cultural Centre - every Wednesday - form 10am to 4pm - for 'drop-in' healing sessions.
We have an open door and a warm cosy fire. Be welcome you to come in and see what we do, talk with us, have a healing session or just lie by the fire. All family members are welcome.

Healing sessions are anywhere up to an hour long and the suggested amount is $20 - $40 - or whatever you can afford.

Feel free to come in and find out for yourself how rejuvinating hands-on healing is.
