Marzipan is a traditional European confection - made from almonds, rose water and honey, similar in texture to fondant - but much superior in taste. It is fun and easy to make and lends itself to hours of textile fun; kneading, shaping and decorating. Riverside Community Trust Board is excited to announce that charitable, not-for-profit groups can now make use of the Riverside Community Cultural Centre free of charge. Via this kind of sponsorship, the Board hopes to strengthen community ties in our region while also easing some of the financial burden that some local not-for-profit groups are facing, in particular since the Covid-19 lock-down. Soley and Faline Pauls are two of Riverside's homegrown teenagers with lots of experience in crafts and gift making. Come and learn from them two methods of simple bookbinding.
