Uke Nomad play 2 ukuleles in a whole new soulful light. Troubadouring full time throughout outback Australia and New Zealand, the duo capture characters they meet along the way in their songs, returning to communities the following year to play back.
The music is a fusion of folk jazz with beautiful harmonies, singalongs and lots of stories in between. Through looping, harmonisation and solos they reveal a different side to the wee ukulele proving it can be as much a soulful song catcher as a comical one. Expect an intimate evening of original numbers and contemporary quality music from the likes of Gillian Welch, Leonard Cohen, Tim Buckley.
