Are you curious about regenerative community living and how ecovillage design can support you to take action and transform your life, project or community? This experiential workshop takes you on a participatory journey through the framework of whole systems thinking and participatory design that is at the heart of the global ecovillage movement. • Learn about GEN's 30 Ecovillage Design Principles and the GEN map of social, ecological, cultural and economic regeneration - and how to apply this in your own life and the development of your community; • Learn time-tested participatory tools for building community and mobilising collective action • Learn about how ecovillage development is a powerful a tool for climate change adaptation. • Discuss how GEN could support NZ initiatives and about forming a GEN group in this country, as part of GENOA (GEN Oceania Asia)
ABOUT KOSHA Kosha Joubert MSc, is an international facilitator, trainer, and consultant in community empowerment, intercultural collaboration and sustainable development. She is co-founder of Gaia Education and co-author of its internationally applied Ecovillage Design Education curriculum. In 2016 Kosha received the Dadi Janki '100 Women of Spirit' Award, for making a difference in the world.
