Women’s Rage Day

With Annika Korsten

Sunday, 11th December, 9am to 4pm

Register: ackorsten@gmail.com

At Riverside Centre (Rangimarie Hall)

Are you ready to stand in your authority as a woman knowing what you want and don’t want? In this transformational, experiential space, you will experience the power and clarity of your anger when it is not suppressed, bottled up or has come out sideways.

Your anger is fuel to create, to make boundaries, to say YES and NO and to take a stand for something.

In modern culture, you have learned that anger is ‘bad’ alongside all the other feelings - fear, sadness and even joy. You have learned to adapt and live a life in survival mode, numbing yourself from your feelings and pretending you ‘have it all together’. It turns out your feelings don’t go away. Their energy comes out in a multitude of survival patterns such as isolation, withdrawal, explosive rage, and in the extreme case, sickness of the body.

During Rage Day, you learn to experientially use the power and energy of your anger consciously and in a safely held space. You get to work on real-life examples and complete some unresolved conflicts and/or emotions and gain more clarity on them, e.g. making new or first-time boundaries, changing your mind, making new decisions etc.

Join a circle of women being by each other's side, healing the wounds from the past and creating a new culture together. Women taking a stand for themselves, their voices, their bodies, and their purpose.

By participating in Women’s Rage Day, you take responsibility for your own experience, deciding how far you want to go.
