About the Event

Introductory Session:

Learn the theoretical background on child development, infant reflexes and their role in human lives forming a sound foundation for learning in school for children aged 4-6. Practical play sessions based on traditional games purposefully chosen to support and develop sensory-motor development are to follow throughout term 1 (see dates below) – but you are welcome to attend this talk even if you are not planning to come along to any of the playdates.

For guardians of pre-school children. At the Riverside Centre . $10 per person. Bookings for the Introductory Session are essential! Bookings close Wednesday, 31st January at 2pm.

Please note that the Introductory Session at the Riverside Centre precedes the active movement and traditional play sessions that Edith will be holding throughout the term in the Riverside Café – but is also very valuable on it's own. Similarly, the practical sessions can be registered for without having attended the seminar.

Practical Play Sessions:

Saturdays 3.2., 17.2., 16.3., 30.3. and Friday 12.4., all 2.30 – 3.30 pm.

For guardians of pre-school children and their children. In the Riverside Cafe Garden. $15 per adult/child pair per session. Please bring cash on the day. You do NOT need to register for these.
