About the Event
In this 2 hour workshop, you will be introduced to 2 different techniques for making body butter at home. Together, we will explore the different qualities of raw ingredients and their potential for balancing the needs of our skin. We will talk about the super powers of our skin and how we may be able to look after this marvellous barrier to outside pollutants without having to spend hundreds of $ and creating tons of wasteful packaging.
This is an ideal workshop for anyone wanting to become more independent of skincare crazes and a little more knowledgeable on creating their own bespoke and skin friendly products.
No previous experience required. Simply join us for a couple of creative hours in a friendly and supportive environment and walk home with two samples of your own body butter.
Please provide 2 small containers from home to store your body butter samples in - leftover cosmetic cream containers (50ml) are ideal. Inform us also about any allergies or sensitivities you may have before commencement of the workshop.
Payment is due at time of booking. For any questions, please contact Tanja at education@riverside.org.nz
This adults only workshop is part of the Riverside Education Programme and proudly sponsored by Riverside Community Charitable Trust. If you are unable to pay the full workshop fee, please contact Tanja at education@riverside.org.nz to apply for financial assistance.
