About the Event
This session is for intermediate weavers - ideally participants who have attended Atawhai's first introductory workshop in July, although this is not a pre-requisite. Please do note that this is not a beginners workshop and you will need some experience in handling and weaving harakeke.
This time, Atawhai, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding the kaupapa and techniques of flax weaving, will focus on one project: a two corner kōnae with a plaited handle.
