About the Event

As a locally renowned private Chef, Thirada Suprom is passionate about sharing her experience with and insight into authentic Thai cuisine. In her recipes, she uses authentic Thai ingredients, fresh vegetables and high-quality meat to create delicious meals that are flavoursome and healthy.

We are very excited to be able to offer you the opportunity to spend 3 hours in the kitchen with Thirada, who will take you through the creation of two of the most popular dishes in Thai cuisine.

Pad Thai is one of Thailand's national dishes and is a go-to for tourists who are starting out their Thai cuisine exploration. Pad Thai is a fried noodle dish that started out as vegetarian but, over the years, was adjusted to suit customer needs. Today, it is often cooked with either prawns or chicken. In this workshop, Thirada will be using chicken.

Everyone loves Fresh Spring Rolls – but how exactly do you get the texture and flavour of this pillar amongst authentic Thai starters, right? Bring a friend and learn all about it in this demonstration-style workshop.

You can sit back and relax while learning all the important techniques and little tricks of the trade, and at the end, you will be sampling the tasty authentic Thai food prepared! There will be time to ask all your burning questions, and of course, you will take the recipes home.

Please note that this workshop is not suitable for vegetarians.

Limited to 10 participants. Sponsorships available (just ask). Bookings essential!

This workshop is proudly sponsored by the Riverside Community Trust. Please contact Tanja (at education@riverside.org.nz) for workshop questions or to ask about sponsorship options.
