Thank you for considering to be a volunteer at our Music Festival! Volunteering is a great way to be involved with all the action, to learn new skills, support Riverside Community Trust and gain some insight into our NZ's oldest intentional community.

 

Riverside Trust needs your help before, during and after the Festival. During this time, the Trust Board offers you a FREE CAMPING spot, FREE ENTRY and also one FREE MEAL on the Festival's day. Accommodation at Riverside Hostel or in one of Riverside Sojourn units is available on your own expense (numbers are limited so book quickly). 

 

In return, the board expects 4 hours of help per day before and/or after the Festival and 4 hours during the day of the Music Festival. Ideally you arrive our sunny spot at least one day before the Festival for a full briefing. You can camp at no cost between 1 to 3 nights depending on how many days you fancy volunteering for.

 

• Tasks before the event include:  Setting up of infrastructure, Food preparation, Decorations, Sign writing

 

• Tasks during the event include: Food preparation, Food sale, Help at gate, Help with parking, Keeping the place clean (Toilets, Rubbish, Recycling), Helping in the kids zone with activities and supervision

 

• Tasks after the event include: Big clean up & sort out, Breaking down of structures
