Connect and Share Yoga together in this interactive and playful group-based workshop. Using Touch, Breath and Movement we will create interconnected Yoga poses, supporting each other to stretch and balance. With Trust, Openness and Reflection we can give life to beautiful Human Mandalas.

The meaning of Mandala comes from Sanskrit meaning "circle." A mandala has a concentric structure. Mandalas offer balancing visual elements, symbolizing unity and harmony.

Jo first discovered Human Mandala Yoga when she did her teacher training in Kids Yoga. Kids Yoga is all about doing Yoga together, it's about teamwork and group dynamics. It's very interactive, fun and playful and a great way to share Yoga and connect with each other.

This Human Mandala Workshop is a social activity where individuals will connect with each other physically and energetically. We will communicate and listen to one another. We will use our flexibility, strength and balance to support ourselves and each other. And Jo invites you to be open and playful too :)

"Each person’s life is like a mandala – a vast, limitless circle. We stand in the center of our own circle, and everything we see, hear and think forms the mandala of our life."~ Pema Chodron

After running 2 successful Human Mandala Workshops at Evolve Festival in Nelson, Jo would like to share it with others. So if this sounds like it might be of interest to you please get in touch and join Jo and others for some connections and Yoga fun :)

Jo is a certified Yoga Teacher. She completed her 200 hrs YTT in 2013 in Dharamshala, India and is currently teaching Adults Vinyasa Flow Classes and Kids Yoga Classes, for the local community of Motueka and Lower Moutere.
