With Keith Levy and John Crick
Saturday, 27th April, 7pm
Door Sales: $20
At Riverside Centre (Peace Hall)
With a soothing backdrop of guitar, Keith Levy takes us on a journey through life with impressions and insights from relationships, memories, connections. Magic and word-rhythms draw us in as Keith examines our pain and joy, life and loss and more. Some folk may sense echoes of Leonard Cohen in his work.
John 'the Walrus' Crick creates the magic of a bard at a campfire ~ characters who will claim the space, with their magic-words, humour and song. The show is called "Yarns o'The Ngatimoti Outback." It is this and more, for John has enjoyed the bush-yarn genre since boyhood. He expresses his own work, and will celebrate the spirit of his bard-mentor, the late Dorothy-Dot, known as The Barefoot Bushwalker.
