Join us for this 3 hour Yoga Fusion Workshop and experience 5 different styles of yoga including Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra. This yogic immersion will take you through dynamic, flowing yoga, moving into more relaxing, restorative yoga styles.
You will be guided through a flowing and dynamic sequence of sun salutations, synchronizing breath and movement. Intended to warm up the body, improve strength and flexibility of the muscles and distribute the energy flow throughout the system.
In this style if yoga you will practice floor postures and breathing techniques, linking breath and movement with a more gentle approach, holding poses for a number of breaths to allow the body to lengthen, expand and release.
This is a slow and passive approach to yoga, where we will hold the poses for a longer period, targeting fascia (connective tissue), allowing muscles to soften and relax, working on all levels of being. It is a meditative practice of re-connection and surrender, releasing tension in the body.
This is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. During the long holds of restorative yoga, however, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It's a unique feeling because props, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body.
Known as Yogic Sleep, it is a meditative practice for deep relaxation and healing, intended to induce total physical, mental and emotional relaxation.
This workshop is suitable for all levels.
