About Nick Feint
"Singer-songwriter Nick Feint has an innate ability to bring in-depth stories to life in his songs with heart and good humor. Bearing traces of Billy Bragg, Nick's musical mix of wordplay and direct emotion makes for a strong and satisfying set. Check out his next live show." Charlotte Yates, musician.
‘Touching on life’s moments big and small, Nick performs his own heartfelt songs with integrity and confidence.’ Jane Dixon, Owner Mussel Inn.
‘The first time I listened to Nick, I thought, "They are good songs! I'm now more aware of the lyrics and think, "They are extraordinary songs!" Nick sings of significant life moments in a richly lived life. He's candid and insightful. There's no mystifying abstraction. Rather growth, courage, wisdom and love. It's not just listening to music; it's meeting the man.’ Bill McEwan.
Nick has an album on Spotify called "Next Exit From Babylon". Check it out.
About Flo Pauls
Starting as a solo act, Flo always felt that only one guitar and a voice wouldn't do it for him. The inspiration came when watching Ed Sheeran live looping at his concert. So he got himself a loop station and spent many a nights in the sleepout, hoeing away at crafting beautiful songs using only a loop pedal and guitar to create unique whole-song experiences.
Music that will invoke moments of reflection and inspiration as well as opportunities to dance. ‘Mesmerising to watch!’
His songwriting has received praise and recognition from the NZSongwriterstrust contest.
Flo has lived and worked at Riverside Community for over ten years. His family of wife and five children keep him well occupied and inspire quite a few of his songs.
