Annemieke started learning the harp at age 9 in the Netherlands. After she graduated as a primary school teacher, she travelled the world with her harp and discovered music from many cultures. Playing at weddings, in castles, in nature, in caves, and in churches. Busking her way around the world, having incredible adventures, and learning that the only thing she really can trust is her own intuition.
Annemieke published her memoir, 'From My Life to Yours', a few years ago. This engaging book describes her adventurous journey into navigating the world as a sensitive soul. And you get an insight into her journey as a new mother, then as a solo mother homeschooling and working at the same time.
She learnt many natural healing modalities and is currently practising ConTact Care, a New Zealand-based frozen bone release technique. She learnt how to grow her own organic food, milk her goats and cow by hand. Then, ancient recipes of cheese making, yoghurt, kefir, and natural animal care.
Happily homesteading now with her partner, Andrew, in Dovedale, Annemieke dreams of a world with beautiful plots of land tended by happy families and the revival of soulful creativity, healthful habits and connection with nature.
She has made several CDs over the years, which are still available too. She now teaches the harp in Nelson/ Tasman.
She puts her heart and soul into the harp meditations, which she writes every month and are designed to heal and transform old patterns and energies. She has been doing these harp meditations for 20 years, at festivals and in local halls. She loves to travel and you can invite her to your event.
It is easy to connect with your soul's wisdom when you are held in a safe, nurturing space where every note aligns with the resonance in the room and the universal energies of Love. Some toning or the sound of the Tibetan gong is added for an even deeper experience and variety in harp meditation. Come and experience this beautiful event if you feel ready.
