Whether you are completely new to Nonviolent Communication (NVC) or are wanting a refresher, this workshop is for you. With NVC we learn to hear our own deeper needs and those of others. Through its emphasis on deep listening—to ourselves as well as others—NVC helps us discover the depth of our own compassion. This language reveals the awareness that all human beings are only trying to honour universal values and needs, every minute, every day.

NVC can be seen as a spiritual practice that helps us see our common humanity, using our power in a way that honours everyone's needs. And yet it is also a very concrete set of skills which help us create life-serving connections in families and communities. The form is simple, yet powerfully transformative.

I (Irma) am passionate to support honesty, harmony, authenticity and ease between people. NVC is not about being ‘nice’. Through personal experience, I have seen that the tool of NVC can make all the difference. During my workshops, I aim to create a safe and open space for both knowledge sharing and practical exploration.
