Thank you for your interest in performing at the Riverside Music Festival 2020:)

Riverside Music Festival is proudly sponsored by Riverside Community Trust Board - a charitable trust board promoting education and supporting vulnerable groups and charitable organisations in NZ society. Originally established in 1953 by early pacifist members of the Community who were keen to demonstrate that peace and sustainability were based on co-operation and individuals sharing their resources with one another, Riverside Community Trust's purposes and underlying pacifist ideals continue to be upheld to this day by members of the Trust Board as well as members of the community. (Check out this short film on life at Riverside Community: One day at Riverside by FRANK FILM)
Riverside Trust Board is looking for a variety of artists for supporting the upcoming Festival, a vibrant and inspiring event on Sunday, 16th February 2020 from Midday to 11pm in sunny Nelson. This year, the trust board will work in cooperation with local Extinction Rebellion and will focus on the Climate Emergency. The festival will feature activities such as workshops, info stalls and public talks for supporting positive action in response to what we all are facing.

Riverside Music Festival is an inclusive, drug and alcohol free, family friendly event. Learning opportunities and constructive climate talk discussion will take place along performances by musicians, dancers, physical theatre and circus artists. We will have our famous waterslide, art activities, games and pony rides set up for children's entertainment - all set up in NZ's oldest intentional community and proudly supported by community members and volunteers from the wider public.
