Tyson has a Diploma in Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy and has been making and developing products at Tui Balms for the last 10yrs. He loves passing on his knowledge and experience to help people take their health in their own hands by using what is growing around them.
In this workshop you will learn how to use local plants and herbs and turn them into balms, concentrated herbal extracts (tincture and vinegar), and additions into homemade soap. This is a perfect follow-up event from our Wild Weed workshop with John Massey offered earlier in the month - but it is also ideal for anyone else interested in making more use of what surrounds us in the natural world.
This workshop is proudly sponsored by Riverside Community Trust.
