Clay Hand-Building Workshop for Kids and their Adult
Organised by Riverside Education
Sunday, 28th May, 2pm to 4pm
Limited to 10 adult-child pairs.
$35 per pair. Sponsorships available.
At Riverside Centre
Here is a unique opportunity for you to spend a couple of hours bonding with one of your favourite young people, exploring the art of pottery.
In this beginner-level workshop you will gain a feel for the clay, create a simple creature and personalise it. Each piece is unique, and the time spent making it as a team with your own hands will leave you with treasured memories. You can freeform a creature of your own invention, or, if you are stuck for ideas, follow a step-by-step process that leads you to a 4 -legged beast.
This session is creative, 100% hands-on and potentially a bit messy – please dress (yourself and your children) accordingly :)
Please note that if you would like your work fired, you will not be able to take it home on the day, and it may take up to a month before you can pick up your finished piece.
This workshop is proudly sponsored by the Riverside Community Trust. Please contact Tanja (at education@riverside.org.nz) for any workshop questions or to discuss sponsorship options.
