At Riverside Clay Play Club

Are you curious if pottery might be your new hobby? Adults, like children, often find joy in handling clay. Why not try some clay play handbuilding? It's a grounding, calming, rhythmical, and creative activity. You can explore this through our one-time workshop, perhaps even becoming part of the Clay Club.

In this beginner-friendly workshop led by Tanja, you'll learn to mold clay into something uniquely yours. The session is fully hands-on, so dress for mess, as clay can stain fabrics.

You have the option to take your work home immediately; just bring a sturdy box or board for transport. Be mindful that unfired pieces shouldn't get wet as they are fragile and dusty. Alternatively, leave your creations for Tanja to fire. The cost is included, but expect the process to take up to four weeks.

If you have one, please bring your own rolling pin (marked with your name).

Limited to 10 adults. Bookings are essential and close Monday, 13th October at 2pm. Book Now

This workshop is proudly sponsored by the Riverside Community Trust. Please contact Tanja (at education@riverside.org.nz) for workshop questions or to ask about sponsorship options.
