At Riverside Cafe
If you've always wanted to try your hand at working with clay and create practical pieces for yourself or as gifts, then this hand-built clay pottery workshop is perfect for you. Whether you have little to no pottery experience or simply don't have the time or resources for longer courses, this workshop offers an opportunity to learn the basic yet successful skills of shaping clay using only your hands. Even a 5-year-old can create a beautiful breakfast bowl, so there's no reason why you can't too!
With Tanja as your instructor, you'll have the chance to get a feel for the clay, create a personalized "pot" such as a bowl, vase, plant pot, or abstract art, and add your unique touch to it. At the end of the session, you can choose to take your artwork home as it is or leave it with Tanja for firing, which is included in the price.
Please be prepared for a creative and hands-on experience that might get you wet and messy, so dress accordingly. Keep in mind that clay stains may not wash out of certain fabrics. If the weather permits, the workshop will take place in the beautiful garden of Riverside Café. In the event of rain, alternative arrangements will be made, so stay updated by checking your emails after registering. Don't miss this chance to explore hand-built pottery and unleash your creativity!
Bookings close Friday, 9th February at 2pm, noon. Bookings essential. Book Now
