Have you ever wondered how to correctly and respectfully harvest flax? Would you like to learn to create beautiful yet simple pieces of art from one of our iconic native plants? Then this entry level workshop is for you!
Come and learn from Atawhai Teaukura about the fundamentals, the kaupapa, and practical skills of working with NZ flax.
Then you can go home with your creations and practice, practice, practice... until in September we will run a more advanced session for those that want to grow their weaving skills.
