Ignite your child's creativity with our hands-on lipbalm and ointment making workshop! This interactive session introduces kids to natural skincare in a safe and engaging way.

Kick off the workshop with a forage walk to gather plant materials, where children will learn to identify and harvest various plants. Then, it’s time for some kitchen fun!

Under guidance from Tasha, kids will use simple ingredients to create nourishing lip balms and healing ointments. They'll measure, mix, melt, and pour their custom creations, discovering how each ingredient benefits their skin. This process boosts their confidence, fine motor skills, and understanding of science concepts like blending and temperature.

Each child leaves with their handmade lip balm and ointment, ready to share. This workshop combines education and enjoyment, fostering curiosity, creativity, and self-care in a supportive environment. All materials are provided for this enriching experience that your child will cherish!

Limited to 10 children, aged 7 to 14. Drop-off and pick-up are in front of the Riverside Community Centre. Bookings are essential. Bookings close Thursday, 12th February at 2pm. $18 per child, including all materials. Book Now
