$35 per participant. Sponsorships available.

Limited to 10 participants. Bookings essential.

Book Now Bookings close Monday, 22nd June, 2pm

At Riverside Clay Play Club, near Riverside Milk Vending Machine

In this beginner-level pottery workshop, you will learn hand-building basics in a relaxed, playful setting and make a pottery cup to take home. Try three core techniques—pinching, coiling, and slab building—and watch clay transform from a sticky lump into a useful, beautiful object.

Tanja will guide you to feel the material, choose a method, and develop essential skills you can use for future projects. The studio offers a calm, creative atmosphere and supportive instruction that many find therapeutic.

All materials, glazing, and firing are included; finished pieces will be fired and glazed by Tanja (please allow a few weeks for drying and firing).

The course is fully hands-on and may be messy—wear suitable clothes. No prior experience required

Limited to 10 participants, 10 years and up. Bookings are essential and close Monday, 22nd June at 2pm. Book Now.

This workshop is proudly sponsored by the Riverside Community Trust. Please contact Tanja (at education@riverside.org.nz) for workshop questions.
