Don’t miss the chance to learn from renowned potter and glaze specialist Ronald Boersen, who is traveling from Auckland to teach us about creating beautiful glazes. With extensive experience in pottery and glaze chemistry and as a moderator of the popular Facebook group Understanding Glazes, Ronald is passionate about sharing his knowledge.

This five-day intensive workshop is ideal for both potters eager to learn about glaze making (cone 6–10) and experienced potters looking to deepen their understanding. Participants will explore glaze composition, practice testing methods, interpret fired results, and gain practical skills for adjusting glazes.

Ronald's engaging teaching style breaks down complex glaze chemistry using visual aids and storytelling. Comprehensive handouts will enhance your learning experience.

What to Bring: Laptop or tablet, PPE, and 17 bisqued test tiles. All materials for glaze testing are provided. Spaces are limited—so book early for this exciting week of glaze discovery!
